第12集後段滿月與燦星到中醫診所執行死神交代的任務，該診所的醫師夫婦看起來年齡與外表有很大的差距，兩人皆白髮滿頭，卻有個才小學的兒子。燦星進去診間看病才發現，原來他們的兒子久病纏身，夫妻倆為了向客人購買掌中的生命線，拼命工作，只為給兒子續命。事實卻是夫妻倆替兒子補上的生命線都是自己的，才會蒼老的這麼跨，親子看起來像是祖孫，就這樣蓄了3年，陰間使者每次來帶人都帶不走，才托滿月來執行。
晚上燦星要來割生命線時，滿月上樓帶小朋友離開，小朋友也知道滿月和陰間使者叔叔一樣是來帶他走的，但他其實不想走，因為爸爸媽媽會傷心。滿月卻告訴他一句話:「這已經不是你要擔心的了，這是還活著的人該承擔的。」就這樣帶走了小男生。
醫師夫婦與小男孩，他們都一樣，不願意失去對方，但其實現實沒有辦法事事如願，滿月最後的話告訴我們，有時候太多的顧慮也是沒有用的，不只是在死亡，人生中做許多決定時，必定沒有辦法顧慮到在乎的每個人，有時候就尊著自己的意願，或是自然的發展就好。
離別，一直是德魯納酒店想要傳達給我們的事情，不管傷心的、冤枉的、不甘心、滿足、自願，各式各樣的離別，都會是每個人生中要學習的課題，不管你是離去的一方或是被留下的那一方，我們都得學著面對離別，所以還是記得，珍惜現在所有。
Man-wol and Chang-song went to a Chinese clinic in order to bring a boy’s spirits that the hell messenger had failed for 3 years. The doctor and his wife both looked older than their age as they found that wanting to save their son’s life these years, they keeping buying patients’ lifeline on patients’ palms and sewing them to the boy’s hand.
The truth was all the lines they bought for their son were actually came from parents. Consequently, the doctor couple getting older like grandparents. At the night Chang-song was going to have a surgeon of lifeline, Man-wol went up stair to bring the spirit. Although the boy knew Man-wol was same as the hell messenger who was going to take him away the human world, he insisted do not leave. He concerned about his parents after his departure. However, Man-wol said ‘’ It is not the problem you are going to solve, it is those people who still alive should bear.’’
The main conception the drama wanted to tell us was always the task about departure. The leaving of sadness, unfair, unwilling, satisfaction or by their self-determination, various kinds of leaving are which we human need to learn. No matter you are the leaver or the one who are left. Hence, remember to cherish everything you own now.
